Tom Cubitt (b. 1992, Norwich) explores the relationship between composed environments and choreography. Growing up in Nottingham, he experimented with methods to represent moving through space. Tom went on to study at the Bartlett School of Architecture and worked as an architect, where he developed his interest in how places are inhabited. This has influenced his artistic practice, where he constructs environments and suggests atmospheres through light and colour. He is interested in storytelling through the creation of fictional settings and producing work that suggests an ambiguous narrative.
